Recording Tab

Your EEG software records the EEG signal from your amplifier. The bossdevice RESEARCH also records the EEG and Aux Channels that are sent to the bossdevice as well as the "Spatial Filtered Data". The bossdevice RESEARCH also records the "Artifact" and "Oscillation" metrics shown within those tabs.

Export filepath

When "Export imported runs to file on con control PC" is selected, which location on the control PC should this data be sent to.

Stop/Start Recording

Starting and stopping the recording is independent of starting/stopping the "Main Control" in the "Top Bar". Starting and stopping the "Main Control" allows the EEG data to be sent to the bossdevice RESEARCH and the bossdevice RESEARCH will start performing calculations on this data. However, nothing will be saved unless the recording has been started here. The ability to start and stop recording within a single session allows multiple recording entries for a single session.

Import File Log

Export imported runs to file on control PC

When your session is done, you must import your recordings from the bossdevice RESEARCH to the control PC. The data will be saved as MATLAB files that can be opened, inspected, post-processed, and analyzed in any MATLAB installation.
